Jatco JF015E (CVT7) failure — shuddering, juddering, hesitation, delayed engagement, overheating and outright failure, frequently just past the 60-month/60,000-mile powertrain warranty. The metal belt and pulleys wear prematurely, and the resulting shavings contaminate the valve body and stepper motor; DTC P0746 (pressure control solenoid performance) is the signature code.
